Joseph Clark RunyanNavy VetJoseph Clark Runyan, 71, of Wellsboro, PA died on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at his home.He was the husband of Donna Morral whom he married on October 5, 1963. Joseph was born August 17, 1943, in Blossburg, PA, the son of the late Clark and Eva (Smith) Runyan.He graduated from Wellsboro High School with the Class of 1962. Joseph was retired from North Penn Gas Company. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, landscaping, fishing and hiking. Joseph helped to start the EMT program, in Tioga County; in addition he was an instructor for the program. He was a former member of the Wellsboro Ambulance Fire Department.
Joseph was also a former member of the Canoe Outing Club of Wellsboro. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.Surviving in addition to his wife, is his son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Nancy Runyan of Wellsboro; daughter and son-in-law, April Runyan-Smith (Skip) Trout Run, PA; two grandchildren, Tanner and Skylar Runyan; his favorite buddy, Duncan; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; many nieces and nephews.Friends and family are invited to Joseph’s Life Celebration on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 12-2 PM at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, “A Life Celebration Home,” 139 Main Street, Wellsboro.
